The National University of Ostroh Academy celebrated the 30th anniversary of the program Jean Monnet Erasmus+. Launched in 1989, the program aims to support research on European values as well as European integration. In particular, the program funds training and research that focuses on European studies and promotes dialogue between students, academic staff, the public sector, and civil society.
Jean Monnet Erasmus+ direction covers 6 activities, namely: preparation and reading of the teaching module, creation of a department, center of excellence, network, project (for scientific and expert debates), support of the association (creation of associations engaged in European studies).
Since 2018, the National University of Ostroh Academy is implementing the project “European values and identity studies” (587684-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE), which is related to the development and teaching of a module on European studies and European integration of Ukraine. As part of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Program Jean Monnet at NaUOA, students and teachers were widely informed about the directions of the program, as well as the training “Opportunities for Erasmus +” was organized.
