The course «European Identity Politics» started

The course gives a strong understanding for Ukrainian students about the multi-disciplinary field of research in studying cultural identity in the EU, its ethnopolitical situation that occurs in modern European countries and about the ethnopolitical processes and potential problems associated with them. The course provides the vision of Enemy and “Cultural wars” as conflicts of values in modern Europe. The received knowledge and skills are useful for effective intercultural communication, realizing the state politics of migration, establishing relations between state and religious communities, implementation the politics of identity and memory, overcoming conflicts in multicultural societies.

Course description: Learning component consists of 3 ECTS (lectures – 30 hours, seminars – 24 hours, 36 hours of self-learning (scientific project).
